The Scottish Father's Rights Organisation does not favour the cessation of maintenance being paid towards our children, On the contrary, We believe that it is our duty as loving and caring parents that we provide for our children no matter what, However, There has to be a strong deterrent implemented to stop mothers using our children as "WEAPONS" against us and ceasing contact for no reason other than their own bitter grudges or grievances.

There are many options that the Scottish Parliament could introduce to prevent mothers from depriving our children from having access/contact with their fathers for no reason, such as the suspension of any welfare benefits, Child custody being taken away from the mother until any court proceedings have been completed and automatic Social Services or Mediation inclusion. While some of these options may be drastic, Drastic measures are needed !.

Scottish Father's Rights Organisation would be committed to working with the Scottish Parliament on introducing equal rights for fathers and to prevent some mothers using the children as "tools for emotional blackmail", But, the Scottish Parliament need to "LISTEN", "ACKNOWLEDGE" and "ACT" on the plight and unfairness that fathers are suffering!

In a day and age where the elimination of Bigotry and Racism and the promotion of Equal Rights are at the forefront of our society, Fathers still do not have the same rights as mothers regarding the well-being and direction of our children's lives, The Scottish Parliament MUST change this !.
